I recently ran out of oil and my boiler's oil supply system is full of air. How can I bleed it?

If the oil level is allowed to fall too low in the oil tank, the oil line between the tank and your Warmflow appliance may be come filled with air. This must be bled from the system before the appliance will operate normally again. Bleeding the oil supply system should only be undertaken by a competent service engineer.   It must also be noted that running out of oil may cause contaminants which may have accumulated in the bottom of the tank over time to be drawn into the burner. These are potentially harmful to the burner appliance and may result in permanent damage. For this reason we would recommend that the tank is re-filled before it becomes empty and that adequate filtration is incorporated in the oil supply line.
